It’s a one-off £150 discount credited directly to your electricity bill.For most eligible households in England it’s applied automatically, so look out for a letterPre-pay and pay-as-you-go meter customers can still benefit, usually via a top-up voucherIt won’t affect other support such as the Cold Weather Payment or Winter Fuel PaymentPark home residents need to apply separatelyYour supplier must be signed up to the scheme, and you needed to be with them on 23 August 2026.
