Have you ever wondered if there are adaptations or gadgets which could increase the independence or reduce the risk of falls for the person you care for or yourself? Not sure what’s available, how it works or what it would look like? Join us on a visit to the Independent Living Centre, set up to look like a home;  filled with various assistive technology, gadgets, sensory and communication tools. There will be occupational therapists on hand to demonstrate, let you try and give advice along with staff from telecare services to show you their range of support. Cuppa and cakes provided.
