Young Carers Action Day
What is Young Carers Action Day?
Young Carers Action Day is an annual event led by Carers Trust, dedicated to raising awareness and taking action to support young carers. We encourage organisations, communities, and individuals to get involved by advocating, supporting, and making a difference in the lives of young carers.
Young carers face many challenges due to their caring responsibilities. Research from Carers Trust consistently highlights that young carers are disadvantaged in multiple areas of life, including mental and physical health, education, employment, and financial stability.

Give Me A Break!
Are you under 25 and caring for a family member due to illness, disability, or addiction? Or do you know someone who is?
Young carers take on so much responsibility every day. They deserve a break—a chance to rest, recharge, and just be young. Whether it’s for a hobby, socialising with friends, or simply some time to breathe, that break matters.
