Growing Old – Planning Ahead
You may be aware of the large piece of engagement Healthwatch are currently undertaking across South Tees, to identify what is needed to improve planning processes for when families can no longer support their family member, with a learning disability, to stay at home.
To achieve this, Healthwatch are seeking input from professionals, carers and people with learning disabilities 30+ years to help them understand current and future needs and make recommendations to inform commissioning and/or service offer re-design. Healthwatch are carrying this out through a variety of engagement methods and approaches to best suit individual needs.
