State of Caring survey 2022
Carers UK have launched their annual State of Caring Survey to help paint a comprehensive picture of what life is like for carers at the moment, the challenges they might face, and the impact caring has on finances, health, and wellbeing.
The survey is the UK’s most comprehensive research into the lives and experience of carers. Last year over 8000 carers shared their experiences. Their responses helped Carers UK to secure new rights for carers in the Health and Social Care Act 2022 in England, campaign for cost of living increases in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, provide evidence from of the need for a right to Carer’s Leave and other support within the workplace, and campaign for breaks and funding for social care.
