Salary £11,891 per annum

(£22,000 per annum FTE)


Carers Together Foundation is an organisation dedicated to improving carers’ quality of life. We listen to carers, give them a voice, provide information, practical and emotional support and promote carers’ rights across the South Tees area.

We are seeking a Finance Officer to contribute to the sustainable development of Carers Together by undertaking all aspects of financial accounting.

The postholder will work closely with Chief Executive to prepare budgets and cost development plans, maintain and develop the organisation’s financial systems and prepare and submit annual financial accounts.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised qualification in accounting – ACCA, ACA, CIMA, AAT-Level 3 and above (or equivalent) with knowledge of financial monitoring and reporting standards.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounting and/or financial management role to include budget planning and monitoring, the production of management accounts and annual financial accounts is desirable and a knowledge of charity accounting and reporting standards, SORP and related legislation would be beneficial.

The successful candidate can be based at our office in Redcar or Middlesbrough but will be required to travel between the two sites as needed.
