From next week, the COVID-19 booster programme will be rolled out to millions of vulnerable people and this will include unpaid adult Carers.

Carers will be eligible six months after their second dose and will be contacted directly with an invitation.  For more information please visit: Most vulnerable to be offered COVID-19 booster vaccines from next week – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

The flu vaccine is offered every year on the NHS to help protect people at risk of getting seriously ill from flu.  People who receive a Carer’s allowance, or are the main Carer for an older or disabled person who may be at risk if you get sick, will be eligible for a free vaccine as part of the Winter Flu Programme 2021.

Speak to your GP or practice nurse, or alternatively your local pharmacist, to book a vaccination appointment and get the best possible protection.   To find out more about the vaccination programme please visit:
